Join us on Thursday, December 12th and Friday, December 13th for a cherished decades-long holiday tradition as the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra presents a concert featuring Handel’s masterpiece, Messiah. The performance will be at 7 p.m. on both nights at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, 800 Bay Harbor Dr., Petoskey.
The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra Chorus (GLCO) and guest soloists, led by Director André Strydom, will join the orchestra led by GLCO Conductor and Music Director Maestro Libor Ondras. The concert also includes Schubert’s Magnificat and Mozart’s Sleigh Ride.
Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit organization headquartered in downtown Petoskey. Tickets from $35 - $65 are available at www.glcorchestra.org. The concert is free for veterans, active service members and students 18 and under by calling 231-487-0010.
