Join us for a few free & fun nature outings at Old City Park this summer. Intern, Jalie Shemanski, will be sharing three of her favorite nature activities. These activities are geared toward the early childhood ages (3-6ish years young), but families of all ages are welcome! The programs encourage families to explore, learn, and discover together. All the materials the kids need will be on hand, but they are welcome to bring their own if they have any. No reservations are required. Listen to the story Red Leaf Yellow Leaf to learn about photosynthesis and the role of roots in a tree. We will then explore the park to collect fallen leaves from imprinting into clay and create our own necklaces or bracelets.
