Created by the Van Dam family, Boyne Boat Yard is a sister company to Van Dam Custom Boats - a trusted partner in their custom boat building business. Located in the northern Great Lakes region, you’ll find Boyne Boat Yard near downtown Boyne City, Michigan on the shores of Lake Charlevoix.

Boyne Boat Yard continues to acquire and surround its ABYC certified team members with like-minded individuals who have a passion for all things boating. A 20 year affiliation with Van Dam Custom Boats brings a high level of experience to the table when it comes to marine construction and repair.

We have capabilities in all things cosmetic, mechanical and marine systems related. Our team is available all year long to manage the service needs of our clients. For client convenience, we offer a 35-ton travel lift at the water’s edge and pride ourselves on year round oversight of the safety of on-site watercraft during storage. Our technicians are certified by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC). We specialize in the unexpected and welcome all unique requests.
