Great Lakes Energy is a customer-owned utility that serves more than 120,000 residential, commercial and industrial electric members in 26 counties. Great Lakes Energy is the third largest Michigan-based utility, in western Michigan, from Kalamazoo to the Mackinac Straits. For more than 75 years, we have succeeded as the largest member-owned power company in Michigan, because of the mutual trust we share with our members.
